It's been getting a little chilly here these past few days. But, it's making me so excited for fall! I can't wait for pumpkin carving, hay rides, changing leaves, pumpkin pies, and bonfires. This is the perfect outfit for such occasions.
If the bottom were to be switched out for a cute pencil skirt and heels, then it would definitely be work appropriate. The button up could also be changed out for a nice chambray shirt for a little more added warmth or a flannel.
If you haven't tried layering your clothing, I suggest you try it. It couldn't hurt. Layering just brings so much warmth and depth to an outfit and really makes ensembles look pulled together. I'm going to be honest here, clearly some things won't look good together, but you'd be surprised at what would. So give it a shot!
