hello, again

Oh my goodness, it's so good to be back! These past two weeks have been so busy in the library. I gave a booktalk this past Monday on 7 different books, so I was busy spending most of  my free time reading some new books and rereading the ones that I haven't read in a few years. It went very well, I think. I was extremely long winded. Really, when am I not. But, the assistant principal told me that the kids seemed really attentive and engaged the whole time and I was thrilled when I had multiple students check out the books from the booktalk! I even had lots of students put holds on the books because other students had made it a point to check some of them out right away. So that made me a very happy librarian!!

Still seem to be living last night's VMAs over and over in my mind. I was even dreaming about them last night. The good, the bad, and the disturbing. 

October already?!

Really, time? REALLY? Could you be moving any faster? I'm glad it's fall, and all that jazz, but it's still hard to believe it's October. So many things are happening. Big winter auditions, school, community theater, and Halloween theme park season. YIKES!!

It's been getting a little chilly here these past few days. But, it's making me so excited for fall! I can't wait for pumpkin carving, hay rides, changing leaves, pumpkin pies, and bonfires. This is the perfect outfit for such occasions.

Don't I just look oh so lovely in my glasses. I also really appreciate my messy hair and my not really caring that this will be on the internet for all to see attitude. As you can tell I really tried didn't try too hard with this one.
