and it was all yellow

This weekend was absolutely amazing. The bf and I went on a mini vacation to Cedar Point! It was so great just to get away and spend some quality time together. If you ever get the chance, go to the park in September. I promise you won't regret it.
The crowds at the park were so small compared to the other times I've been there. The longest line we had to wait in was 30 minutes and we rode in the front seat of every coaster we went on.

I also got to ride Top Thrill Dragster for the very first time. Not gonna lie, I was so nervous. Sitting in the front seat looking up at that thing is not very comforting, let me tell ya. But it was incredible! I was just sitting there.  Then, all of a sudden, the wind was knocked out of me, I was speeding to 120 mph basically faster than I could blink, going completely vertical up and down, and then stopping all within about 20 seconds. Clearly, it was insane.

My boy also took me shopping and we stopped at Saga on our way home. Saga is a hibachi grill and it was so cool! I've only been to a hibachi restaurant one other time and it was just as I had remembered. And the chef was so funny! He had the bf and other guests holding their mouths open so he could spray sake into their mouths straight from the bottle. And he even made balloon animals for the kids that were at our table. It was such a nice end to the trip.

I'm wearing yellow today for Suicide Awareness Day. Unfortunately, suicide has affected myself and many people I know.

It is preventable! We can all make a difference to help stop suicide. If you or anyone you know may have thoughts of committing suicide or have tried to commit suicide, please seek help. Please call the national suicide prevention lifeline at 1-800-273-TALK (8255). This number is available 24/7. No matter who you are, you can help prevent suicide. Every life matters.
