Happy 2013!!!!

Hello loves! HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! I'm about ready to hit to road and ring in 2013 with some pretty awesome people who I haven't seen in a while. 2012, you were great, but I'm ready for some twenty-thirteen! Whatever you guys do tonight, be safe!

Off the subject of New Years, how about this skirt, right!?

It's pretty funky (being feathered and all) but I love it!! I've been so inspired to pair this amazing piece with some other clothes in my closet. So, this week is dedicated to this awesome skirt. The skirt is from H&M and I got it for only about $35. It should still be in stores since I only got it about a month ago, on Black Friday.

I've been pretty hesitant to wear this skirt, but have been reassured that it's okay to step outside the box and wear something that not everyone would. I hope that this week's "A Piece for a Week: Feathered Skirt" inspires some of you to dare to take a risk with your wardrobe. 

Also, just a heads up. My pictures to come are all taken from my camera phone in my bedroom. Clearly this isn't my ideal. However, my normal photo spots are covered in snow and I have no tripod. And since I take my own photos, these will have to suffice.
