black and navy

I gotta admit, I wasn't too sure about this black/navy combo that's been trending lately. However, I have to admit, I sort of dig it. I know! I know, that the colors blend in with each other. But there is that slight difference that makes the tones together interesting. Completely unexpected. 

it's spring?!

Bonjour mes amies! I hope you all are having a superb weekend so far.

I don't know what's happening your way, but in my neck of the woods it's feeling like spring. So what's going on mother nature? Clearly, the great lady mother didn't get the memo that winter just started. I dunno. I don't want to say this too loud (cause I don't want the lady mother to kick our butts later), but I'm loving it! And it sort of inspired this look for my dear feathered skirt.

My grandfather has been extremely ill for quite some time now. But this past week, my family and I have noticed that he had started to turn yellow. Like, extremely yellow. We took him to the hospital, only to find out that he has a cancerous mass on his pancreas. The doctors can't do surgery because his heart is too weak for the procedure. Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers and help him get through his rough time!
