Hello loves, I hope you all had a fantastic holiday! My Christmas was absolutely wonderful.
I went to Evan's on Christmas Eve and spent the night playing some fun games and hanging out with his family. We had a blast! My favorite part, besides being with Evan, was getting to see his niece, who I downright adore. She was so cute and immediately when she saw me I was attacked. We had fun dancing to Rihanna, Katy Perry, Beyonce, and even head banged to some Nirvana, Teen Spirit. She was a moshing pro by the end of the song, no doubt.
We also spent Christmas Day with his extended family and had some great Christmas food and drink. Man, do I love family get togethers! Of course, that night, I came home and spent time with my own family who was all in town for a few days! :)
The past couple days have been crazy snowy here in good old PA. It's finally starting to clear up a bit. So, don't let these pics fool ya, they were previously taken. There is snow still all over the place, but luckily the roads are finally clear. And that means game night with all of our church friends is still on for tonight! YAY! We haven't had one of those in a while and I'm ready for some card playing action.
I'm also pretty pumped that game night is tonight, because I was SUPER ill on Wednesday and somewhat into Thursday. Not just your everyday sickies either, people. I'm talking full on sneezes, wheezes, runnies, stuffies, tear inducing, head-aching, stomach clenching, bone-aching, sweating, freezing, sweating, freezing, sweating, freezing, fever having sickies. These sickies had me barely able to role out of bed all day. The only good that actually came out of it was being able to sleep for hours on end.
Also, one thing about today's outfit. This dress was actually bought this summer from the website tobi.com. If you don't know about tobi, go look. It's pretty awesome. Anyhoodle, this dress is a summer shift dress that has a cut out back, three quarter sleeves, and is pretty light weight. I love the idea of pairing summer pieces with more winter appropriate pieces. It gives for a nice contrast and allows you to get more wear out of your favorite clothes.
