Pink, pink, pink. It's the color of love and hearts...and my outfit for today. Cause it's V-Day! I got to have my second Valentine's Day party of the year today! Or, as the kids call it, "Valentime's Day." And I may even have the chance to have a third one tomorrow! Win. These are the joys of being a substitute teacher.
My friend Marion said something tonight that was so completely true for the both of us. "The class did have party and let me just say delicious. Kids can't pronounce my last name right, but at least they know to give me treats." Seriously, getting those treats is pretty sweet, even if they can't get the name right.
And speaking of sweet, Evan and I had our Valentine's date last weekend because we couldn't do it this weekend due to work. But, we had such a great time and did the whole dinner and a movie thing. Texas Roadhouse was the perfect choice for our dinner. You know I love me some of that delicious cinnamon butter! And then, for the movie, we ended up going to see Silver Linings Playbook. If you haven't had the chance to see it yet, make sure you do. It was so funny and yet at the same time serious. It was just an all around swell time. And Bradley Cooper is on screen the entire time, what's not to like?
Evan, being the complete gentleman that he is, bought me three roses, representing the three year that we've been together. ISN'T HE JUST THE CUTEST! And I finally gave him his Christmas present!! It was on backorder, so it didn't even get to my house until mid-January. I was so afraid that he was just going to say to return it, but he didn't!He actually ended up loving it. Needless to say, it was basically the perfect pre-Valentine's Day day. I sure do love that boy.
